With 266 beds and 24-hour emergency air and ground ambulance services, this facility is the region's designated trauma center. Mercy's Regional Cancer Center treats patients from 11 counties. Additional services include a Level III Neonatal ICU, Mercy Heart Center, the Pediatric Pavilion and the Home Health and Hospice programs.
Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta cares for the underserved areas of rural southern Siskiyou County. A 25-bed hospital is a designated Critical Access Hospital and offers orthopedic and heart care, digital imaging service, family birth center, cancer care, surgical services, Hospice care and other critical services. In addition, the hospital operates three rural health clinics so residents can receive care closer to home.
St. Elizabeth's brings progressive healthcare to Tehama and Glenn Counties. With approximately 75 beds, this hospital offers advanced surgical, diagnosis and treatment services. St. Elizabeth Community Hospital provides critical, adult, pediatric and maternity care, as well as Home Health and Hospice programs. In addition, the hospital has perinatal clinics in both Red Bluff and Corning and county side ambulance services.
Shasta Senior Nutrition Program merged into Golden Umbrella in July 2017 to become Dignity Health Connected Living, a private non-profit agency, a subsidiary of Mercy Medical Center, and Dignity Health member. Animated by a spirit of compassion, caring and collaboration they provide nuritious meals, adult day care programs, case-management, social services, health-related services, in-home support services, financial management and assistance, representative payee services, transportation and supportive services that promote and enhance the physical, social and spiritual health of seniors and under-served families.
